DFW based pilots leaving Spirit for AA, have fun. I don’t think the grass is that much greener on that side of the terminal.
I would never want the chief pilot role. More than likely he’s tired of having to play crew scheduling, hotel connections, babysitter, etc. I was moreso insinuating it’s a sign of the times at what a dumpster fire we have become lately..I know we aren’t the only ones. I’ve never heard of anyone being called about a sick call since we were negotiating. Also, they most certainly make more than the line pilots. They got a big bump when we got c2018.
I’m sure AA has their issues too, but if you don’t have much invested here how could you not explore that option if DFW or any other base we share with a legacy?
