I mean would you rather someone smell good or like ****? The amount of captains I fly with who wear the same shirt 4 days in a row and thus smell like dirty gym socks is a lot worse than someone wearing a little cologne, of course there are always exceptions (you can go way overboard)
In my experience the ones wearing the 4 day old shirt are the same ones attempting to cover it up with cologne. Nothing like that one-two punch to the nose.
