would i love a great contract? of course
but im expecting a reduction of things overall because well thats what mgmt will put out there.
Not your job to run the company or even analyze the financials. Your job as a pilot, aside from the actual job, is to take as much as you can get. Stop trying to figure out what they can and cannot afford. They have plenty of people doing that for them. Pick a side.

I’ve never seen any employee outside aviation that negotiates their compensation package based on what they think the company could afford. Hell if we had only $5M in the bank and if Ted himself wanted for $10M as a salary he’s going to ask for $10M. If the board offers it to him he’s taking it. In fact I can think of plenty of companies on the brink of closing the doors and then they brought in a new CEO and paid them much more than the one they fired and they couldn’t afford the last one. Point being it’s the cost of doing business. Stop trying to do their job.
