Payscales can be very misleading. An Ord standup to FWA would pay about 4 hours at GJ but 6.5 at Skywest. A 4 day trip at most regionals would have a guarantee of 16.5 hours ( 4 and 1/8 per day) but at Gojet the first day of the trip has to have an early start and the last day has to have a late ending in order to have min guarantees. Therefore the guarantee for a 4 day trip might only be 8 hours. (Unless recently changed.) Long Term Disability: GJ says it is company paid guaranteeing 60% of your pay. You would think that a guy making 10k a month would then make 6000 a month while on long term, but if you read the small print the guarantee is 60% of pay up to 1000 per month. "The Company shall provide to all pilots who have completed their probationary period, at no cost to the pilot, a LTD insurance policy with benefits equal to sixty percent (60%) of the pilot’s monthly income subject to a monthly maximum benefit of one thousand dollars ($1,000), based on the pilot’s applicable hourly rate times 85 hours, and continuing until the pilot is no longer disabled or until age 65, whichever is earlier."

There is much more to total pay than the pay scale.
