Especially considering that it seems like most of the Captains are pretty decent and the combination of rates and work rules will make my paycheck just fine.
On that note: don't worry all you long timers, I won't get too caught up with the "psychic wage" and vote yes on the first thing I see. I'll evaluate and listen to you guys too, I promise.
As far as being west, well I'm hoping for DEN where there's lots of growth. Will hopefully get it soon. Flying the 73 for the rest of my career? I don't know. I might get tired of it. So I'll finally go do some aerobatic stuff or get my seaplane rating to keep it interesting.
I mean, im sure we can come up with a long list of "This needs to be fixed" or "Why would I come here if XXX is hiring" reasons, and I get it, after 10 years plus here (im not at that point yet) you definitely have gripe room.
Hoping the next contract fixes a bunch fo stuff so we can look attractive VS FDX/Legacy stuff.
The final issue is yes, we work hard for our money, and that should be reflected not be EQUAL in pay to XXY airline, but ABOVE them by a large margin. We sit and wait...
Welcome aboard~
