Not sure what your concern is...if they already have an fo seat and are not displaced, they can only bid for original and recurring vacancies, all of which will probably still be in anc. The pilots displaced (probably just cpt and fo) will have displacement rights to go where they want but the backseaters will probably not be displaced (if this past bid was any indication). So far the company has acted to limit the daisy chain training from a full displacement and give the backseaters only anc to bid. That is far better for the pilot group as a whole (keeping your position) than displacing the engineers. Don't you agree?

I don't disagree one bit and am not concerned about it. Didn't mean to sound that way. I am referencing guys that just bid the ANC FO spots. Since they do not have a seat lock can't they displace a CA in any seat their seniority will hold? Maybe I am just too confused on this whole thing and should just get back to studying
