Wearing the uniform as a nonrev/deadhead/whatever is stupid in this day and age. Sure, you can control yourself and be sure you’re not doing anything abnormal, but you can’t control others, especially those with an agenda and a camera. Why risk it?
A pullover takes 2 minutes to take out of your nav bag and put on, it’s worth the protection.
Even the United Instagram hero wears a pullover on DHs. He’s made videos chronicling his pain that people don’t know he’s a pilot, so the pullover disguise must work. OOFFF HIS MEDS obviously loves ‘flexing’ in the terminal. My guess grocery shopping in uniform is also on your to do list.
