Welcomed aboard to those new Eagle hires. I know a lot of you are wondering about reserve times so from my personal experience this is how it's gone for me. I got hired Aug 07 into the EMB in ORD, got done with IOE in time to bid for Nov in OCT. I held reserve NOV, DEC. Got a Composite line JAN, and went back to reserve FEB, MAR. This was due to a reduction in flying and some guys that were senior to me coming from the Saab in LAX to ORD. Right now we should be getting the bid packets on the 15th and we'll find out if more line were cut or added. If things stayed the same I should hold a line, whether composite, relief or hard line but I should be able to hold one. A lot of our flying in ORD was passed to DFW in FEB and MAR because they were better staffed. Looking at the latest flow plan posted there are quite a few new hires coming to ORD so i assume reserve time will be less than mine if we stay busy and with enough line as DEC and JAN.
