This was discussed in the call as well. They acknowledge the cost but won’t say how much. They were very murky on the details of how to get the planes changed over without affecting operations

Your CEO and CFO don’t seem as confident as you. One of the main things they kept addressing is their lack of orders, the retiring of the 190s and how hard it is to get planes right now. This was said over and over. I’m sure they can get Airbuses from Airbus…maybe in 2030. Like it or not, you want new planes with new engines, that comes with Spirit. Ursula and Robin made this clear
You don't understand the dog and pony show. They are selling and explaining... If they wanted more Airbuses, they would place a follow-on order. They know when their deliveries run out, and when they would need to place an order to get more. They literally have a bat phone that directly connects them to Airbus.

If they actually were unable to get Airbuses, when they wanted them, they would have placed an order already to get them later, they wouldn't just GIVE UP! Think about it! You want Airbuses in 2026, Airbus says you can't have any until 2028, and JB says no thanks?!?

Recognize when you are being manipulated and being subject to the dog and pony show. If the merger happens, you will be better prepared for this company if you learn the management style now.
