Obviously the koolaid gets passed around hard in indoc but big title names in flight ops have been telling new hires to expect 2 year upgrades based on the movement. It goes without sayin take every thing with a grain of salt and common sense but where do you guys see the trend in terms of DOH NB upgrades and WB flying in the the next near?
There were zero new hires from March 2020 to September 2021. About 1.5 years. So at some point, there’s gonna be a big juniority jump. Perhaps that’s their 2 year upgrade logic.
The “this vacancy went artificially low due to insert reasons here” argument probably has merit. Then again, looking through the FO-CA upgrades on the list, I see quite a few who were/are living in premium in the right seat yet still bid the upgrade.
