I think FG2021 nailed the basics in his post above. The mistake that no one should make is thinking that’s an issue specific to PSA, because it’s an issue at all the FFD Regional carriers now. Any one of them is an absolute roll of the dice at the moment, so if you’re going to roll the dice, at least go to one where you won’t have to commute.

The simple reality of it all is until some dim witted MBA figures out that throwing more money is not going to solve this issue, but rather the ability to accrue seniority on a list that pilots actually want to spend a career on, this situation will not change.
