American’s not going anywhere. Too big to fail. Bankruptcy however is likely. The only questions is can they afford a concessionary pilot contract while still trying to recruit and retain enough pilots to manage their massive retirements?
I was under the impression that bankruptcy law changed after the Great Recession in a way that made the old quick trip through Ch. 11 far less appealing.
I’m not a lawyer and I didn’t stay at a holiday inn last night, though.
