1. I know 220s are in BOS only. Has it been announced which base will get 220s next? If it is JFK, how soon are 220s expected to arrive there?
2. How long is equipment (seat) lock for new hires? If I choose JFK320 or JFK190, would this be waived if 220s come to JFK? (If not, would bidding BOS220FO be the only way to get to JFK220FO when it opens?)
3. The most junior JFK190CA at the moment has been with the company how long?
4. I hate red-eyes. How often in a month does a junior JFK320FO typically fly red-eyes? I am guessing that bidding for the 190 is the only way to avoid them altogether?
5. Any advice from current NYC pilots on QOL. Do JFK320FO and JFK190FO typically get the same number of days off?
Thanks in advance for the info.
The best advice I can give you is to get a CP meet n greet with DAL. Sure, take the B6 class but wake up each day trying to move to the real NY airline: DELTA.
I dont mean to discourage you, but this is the big picture. B6 hates it's pilot group and will always attempt to run understaffed leaving you with little schedule flexibility.
Welcome to B6, but I hope you get the opportunity to leave.
