Current regional FO here. Working for Southwest has been a goal of mine since I was a kid. I’m about 6 months in at my regional and Southwest is still the ultimate goal. I was looking for advice on things I could be doing now to frame myself up to hopefully get an interview and a job offer there one day. As well as the amount of hours and experience everyone had when they got hired. Thank you!
SWA is just looking for pilots with a pulse at this point. All the over-qualified people are going elsewhere. TPIC isn't even a requirement anymore. Apply to every window you can, no matter how many hours you have. Eventually you'll get picked up.
