Is there some restriction on how long a trip OE planners are allowed to build for OE. A friend of mine just got a 9 day trip (2 domestic days followed by a 7 day TOE) built to complete OE. It’s two separate out of base trips put together to create one long one. Lots of wasted time in there. This is on the 7ER. Ironically over 9 days they will have gotten only 4 landings in the 76. All of which will have been red eyes.
No restrictions as long as it does not violate 117. And and 4 landings in the 76 is all that’s required from what I’ve heard from a buddy on the fleet. He had some weird stuff in his OE/TOE in Feb (not sure how much that differs if it’s IOE).
