furloughs
Guys...
Ups would have to be idiots (okay, bigger idiots than they already are!) to furlough. Not only would there be little to no open time or ja pickup but a lot of people would start using more of their sick time in response; I know I wouldn't feel quite as well coming to work in a furlough situation. I would think that they will carry extra bodies in the right seat of whatever fleet they feel will be growing in 08/09 and not put them in the fe positions for just a year.
