Breeze’s “nicest” seat (basically business class seat) to LAX/SFO and maybe SJC, OAK, SNA, BUR and SAN in the future (even just a few days per week each) would probably be a big money maker. No way I am using EWR if HPN is closer and I am flying to the same destination. This is how you can use the range on the A220 effectively. Too bad the A220 deliveries are slow at the moment.
Definitely looks like a smart plan to me. Why would someone in Westchester County want to drive to LGA to connect through Charlotte, Atlanta, or Houston to go to LAX when they can go nonstop from HPN? Or deal with EWR?
