RB, I truly think you are reading to much into this. I don't see how the IPA leadership can say what will happen to displaced folks unless there are contractual issues at play.
The 90 day furlough letter can come at any time. We are always just 90 days from furloughing. If such threats were made I am sure the majority of line pilots would step up like in the past.
However, I like you, would have preferred a more convincing statement from the IPNN. But we didn't get it. I'm sure for those near the bottom this is all unnerving but it sure is a example of how fast things can change.
