One of the biggest problems here is the pairing construction. The quality of the pairings has gone down massively. Guys that have only been here 4-5 years don’t always understand that. Most 20 year guys will tell you they had better schedules 5 years ago than they do now. That’s one of the reasons why 6-8 year guys are considering leaving now.
The grid system is a much bigger problem and QOL detriment than the pairings I believe. Narrow-body pairings industrywide are pretty rough right now.
