Between this thread and the new hires thread, there are some pretty basic questions that can be answered simply by spending 6-9 minutes in the PWA. If you need the interwebs to answer questions about new categories opening, then you don’t stand a chance with PBS, PCS, bidding etc. I mean, come on, this is your career/quality of life. READ THE SOURCE DOCUMENT! Then ask specific questions! Yes there are tons of nuanced ways to take advantage of the system, and this is a great place to learn that. But AE bidding is pretty straight forward, especially with all of the hints/tips/tricks that DALPA puts out! I know I’ll get a lot of flack for this. It’s just “new guys asking questions”. But damn, I would have been embarrassed to ask this simple stuff. It’s all information readily available to every delta pilot!

Oh, and while you’re on here hoping some anonymous dude accurately answers your contract question, some PWA ninja junior to you is learning how to get your line/schedule/seat/etc.
