It is really unfortunate how slow it is going at Mesa and there is not much indication management is doing much to try and fix it. Not even all September hires are in flat panels yet and I wouldn't be surprised to see people having legit 10-12 month training footprints. I'm sure the paid vacation is nice but it's a bit much when recruiters were telling people it was only to be a few month delay.
Oh they are trying they just can’t stay ahead of anything. They just announced a very nice part time instructor package that should make a difference there (a year too late). But now they are short LCA like the rest of the industry was a year ago. They can’t seem to see problems coming until they are big problems then they just wait to see if they magically fix themselves for a few months. Then they do a fraction of what they should do to address the problem to see if it makes a difference. They are moving at a snail’s pace to correct issues that require decisive, aggressive action in today’s environment.
