Also we have had a backup of aircraft in CWA geting there refit to mesaba specs. Some of them have taken longer than expected. There is no slow down to the aircraft transfers. We are on track to get 15 9E CRJ's. The only backup in the 200 program is having enough 200's to get people on there OE. My two cents.

Stop drinking Uncle Phils kool-aid and stop trying to stir the pot on APC. He can tell you all the negative things he wants about Mesaba, the fact is that he doesn't know what he's talking about. We can't handle anymore planes? WE NEED more planes to clear our training backlog. People are waiting for IOE for long periods of time, because we aren't getting the planes FAST enough. Despite the fact you guys want to believe Mesaba is exactly like Pinnacle... it's not. We don't have a shortage of pilots. We aren't having problems filling classes or retaining pilots.
is it possible for you to read a post before you post your ignorant response? if you had read one of your fellow employees post (i quoted it for you), you would see we were both correct. no one said there was a permanent stop on the transfer of planes. also if you had read our post you would see that we dont care if you take those planes. with the delta flying we still have a net gain of planes that we cant staff.
and you think mesaba isn't like pinnacle??? how long have you been there, 6 months. you no nothing of this business if you think we are so different. i remember picketing with you guys over 2 years ago when you voted to strike. you guys were just as ****ed at your management as we are at ours. you need to educate yourself about the red tail family before you start thinking you have it all good over there. it is all good right now, but things change quickly. maybe you need to read this website and eductate yourself. then come back and tell me how different we are.

how quickly you forget, or maybe you never knew.
i really encourage you to read every page on that site. management was selling you guys up the creek, people were getting furloughed, they wanted to reduce the guarantee hours, etc, etc... its all the same.
i will even do a little of the work for you.
