well since everyone has an opinion, here is mine. Stick it out at SkyWest, get your 1000 PIC. Keep updating your apps in the mean time. If there is no call from the Majors by 1000, then go to a LCC until they call.. my reasoning is I got hired at United with 100 hours of 121 PIC, and when COVID came, and the furlough letters came out, I thought I had no options to apply anywhere because of my lack of PIC time. My friends who had 1000 hours, were applying for UPS and FedEx and getting hired.
If you had gone to an LCC then you wouldn't have been sending out apps while UA was talking about furlough.
The time to get out of SkyWest is NOW. If the music stops, being at B6/NK/F9 is better than being at SkyWest. If the music doesn't stop, you'll get hired faster from B6/NK/F9 than you will from SkyWest.
