So I’m planning on going back and forth a lot from EU to US the next few months… how realistic is it to be able to use the empty bunk on 3 pilot crews? I should clarify I do work for a legacy that will operate these routes and I’ll be jumpseating to/from EU on my own metal.

Sorry for dumb question, but I thought they used all bunks… on a 3 pilot crew there’s always an empty bunk? And are crews usually cool with letting a jumpseater use it till landing?
