Not sure if you guys have been reading the AIP thread over on the United forum, but based on how many of them are talking about improvements to the work rules and being curious about 'the whole package', I'd be willing to bet this thing passes. Or at the least, the leaked rates aren't a dealbreaker. I think fear of the upcoming recession has a lot of guys nervous about sending it back to the table.
Less anyone thinks I'm throwing stones at United, it'd likely play out the same here at AA. I'm not happy about it and I'd love to see you guys toss such an AIP back with a huge middle finger, but that United thread doesn't have me optimistic that you'll see it from them (you won't know what AA will do because I don't think we'll see an AIP for years).
Nobody but their MEC knows what's in it. All anyone has is rumors and a couple of fuzzy screen shots of pay rates.
