"Having it worse" is such a generic statement. Obviously we're talking about 2 jobs with entirely different compensation...as it should be.

But...who has it worse? Well, a Delta flight attendant with 10 years seniority that works an average of 80-85 hours per month can't even qualify to rent a 1 bedroom apartment on their own in most of our bases because they don't meet the minimum income requirements. I mean...maybe we can all agree that kind of sucks doesn't it?

Average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Atlanta is $1,812. Most apartments require a tenants income to be 3x that of their monthly rent meaning on average that's a little over $65,000 per year. A flight attendant with 10 years seniority that works 85 hours per month earns $60,853 per year.

I think we can all agree that sucks huh?
