I think it’s a crap deal. Flash a bunch of money. Pilots go oooooo ahhhhh. It’s very predictable. Meanwhile the extra coin only lasts for 2 years. Except now we have PBS with no SAP, no schedule flexibility, and less quality of life. Meanwhile Envoy and Piedmont gave up nothing.
And Piedmont is still getting a CRJ type apparently? I want some answers on that before voting on anything.
Piedmont and Envoy signed their deals which means if you want to go to an AA wholly owned you'll go anywhere but PSA. If PSA digs in their heels on this deal and says no then that will be the end of PSA.
I guarantee you they dropped rumors about Piedmont getting CRJ's on their certificate for a reason, I guarantee you they had Piedmont and Envoy sign there deals before PSA even heard of it for a reason.
At this point it's just a matter of trying to make the concessions as tolerable as possible.
