so every month of delay will take 3 months to make it up. If it takes a year to get the extra 5 an hour it’ll take 3 years to just break even on what I could have had. If negotiators go 18 months then it’s a total loss because the contract will be amenable before we break even.

That’s why I say it’ll take years - not to negotiate but to break even with what we lose while we negotiate.

So how much better does it have to be to make the wait worthwhile?
Better than 53% of what the competition will be being paid. Better than $500 a month for below average healthcare. I expanded in another post. The company wins when we approve this trash. If this is seriously the best they can do we will be getting $0 month when they cease operations. There’s no way the money can be this far off. If American and United need to pay more they will if they don’t want to lose our services. I don’t think they can afford to lose our planes, but if they can oh well. If we accept this trash, the company will most likely be getting more anyway-there’s no way they won’t be, and we will have been screwed yet again.
