Regardless if the pilots budge or not the market will always determine pilot salaries. Envoy and PDT ratified an extension to their contract for almost 7 years. Effectively locking the pilots out to collective bargaining and in the mean time and they did it without a pilot vote. PSA is in a fair position because the pilots can have a voice on this.
NOT voting it YES does not seal the fate of PSA closure. PSA is not too expensive to exist. A mass exodus after is the threat.
If PSA pilots were able to show that the attrition was not slowed much at PDT and Envoy due to this agreement you would have some strong leverage.
Once you look past the arbitrary pay amount you will see an agreement loaded with threats to the pilot groups.
See if market effectively determined pilot salaries we wouldn't still have mesa pilots making minimum wage.
