Some of the permanent components were more than modest. But yes, the permanent pay scale was 'modest, but nice' as you put it. Some permanent details that I think are more than modest is the 100% override to line check airman, no more cap at pay step 12 and now extends all the way to step 20, captains on property for more than 6 years move to pay step 20, and sim check airman pay increased to 130-145 hours per month.

But in the end it's still a regional which means it's a stepping stone. Everyone should be getting to where they want to finish so they can start building seniority there. But there are some that may decide to hang around for the pay and whatnot. Might be a good recruiting tool for new hires though.
