Yet he went to a place where I keep hearing they reschedule you like crazy and you have to call the hotel desk yourself. Even APA has put out a video how they’re sick and tired of it.
I just find it poetic he emails the pilot group that he is going to a place where work rules are even worse.
maybe his real reason was the money and he left under a pretext that it was the work rules.
for one Captn reserve assignments here at spirit are 95 percent with zero reservations or transportation booked. Im sure Americans hotel desk doesn’t make pilots wait 4 hours for a hotel confirmation while standing in the lobby. Was reassigned last week no hotel and spent 2 hours on hold. Just ended up paying for a hotel myself yet again.
On the plus side - Atleast I keep the points from all the hotels I’ve had to personally buy this year mid trip.
