Pilots don’t need to rationalize what the company can afford or not. Let them run their business. First of all 20% isn’t even in the ballpark but I won’t go into it deeper than that. Let the negotiating committee do their job. This is standard Spirit/Frontier. They want us to be the lowest paid period. They don’t care if they get less experienced pilots. They don’t have any other plan than delay and stall for years to get the lowest paid pilots in the U.S.
This. When fuel prices double, they raise their price. We’re a cost expense that’s required to run the airline. If they want to stay in business, they’ll need to do something.
