I use the raincoat. It does have a liner but I removed it. I wear it over the Blazer, Oct to March. It’s been fine for cold walk arounds and waiting for hotel vans. It packs easily when I change into cities for my commute. Honestly, 80% of pilots don’t wear either coat, but I don’t like freezing, and you never know where you will end up on any given trip.
