The super productive trips go senior and most can’t hold a flying seat on those routes. A 9 day IRO line beats the hell out of a 12 day flying seat line any day. Under the TA if you opt out of the landings swap and have to go to landings class, you don’t get paid. This thing is garbage on every fleet, yet it will probably pass.
Well stated. I’d rather do a 30 hour trip as an IRO than a 16 hour trip as a flying pilot. And if that means landings every 90 days that’s what my seniority allows.
