I only know a few LCA’s and they’re all hard no voters. They claim that their friends aren’t happy either. The override is a big improvement, but the rest is bad. One guy frequently has lines built where he deadheads around doing line checks. According to this deal, he’ll only get paid for jumpseat time, not the whole trip. They aren’t happy with the rest of the deal either. They’re upset about the scope concession allowing retired pilots to work at TK. They’re also not happy that the rest of the TA is so bad. There are lots of Marvin’s in the training department, but there are also lots of good people who want a good deal for everyone. This TA isn’t it. Other than pay rates, our current contract is a better deal than this agreement, and the pay in this deal falls short. Such an easy no vote, but I’m prepared to be disappointed in this pilot group when the results are released.
