I had a scheduling rep tell me a few years ago, that if he took one phone call about ALPA work he could drop a trip with pay. Then talk on the phone 5 minutes and greenslip afterwards I 'm not sure if that is still standard operating practice, but it could explain why guys never want to return to the line.
