I've been here at ASA and in the airline industry for all of 5-6 weeks and am no expert. I hope I'm never an expert.

I don't want to get sucked into the endless worrying, anticipating, expecting, rumor-mongering, speculating, guessing and just general angst that seems to go along with trying to figure out how it's all going to work out.

All of that, and you're wrong most of the time anyway.

Come to class. Study. Apply yourself. Take the step that's in front of you right now.

The history of airlines since deregulation has been seniority lists that start and stop and move rapidly or not at all and everything in between.

None of that's changed now that it's me on their conveyor belt.

I'm right there with you at the bottom of a seniority list in a volatile industry at an uncertain time <shrug>. So, I'm going to show up each day and do what's in front of me as well as I can and stay focused on how great it is to be where I am!

I'm glad you made it into the 3/31 class! They do a good job with the training, this is a really positive company to work for, Atlanta is a great city to be in...life is good!

Let me know if you need anything leading up to class, I've got a pretty good little collection of study materials collected here.

and they said it was management's decision.
I know it's difficult and blow to your confidence and everything, I've been there.

Will you follow up on this in a few months and let us know how it worked out? I'm going to predict that you shake this off and wind up at a much better job for you.
