I can assure you after some long commutes in and people are forced to start moving seats just prior to a trip and people planned on first break etc you gonna see some say ok I知 up front now and right before push say I知 fatigued and not ready to fly. When I hit fit for duty and it痴 a double augmented crew I知 putting down fit for duty that I知 rested and ready to fly or prepared to show up a bit tired ready to go to bunk for sleep and be non fatigued to take over 7 hours later. If I get there thinking I知 going to bunk and suddenly find myself upfront for the next 7-8 hours the operation is coming to a screeching halt. And the first pushback is gonna set off phone calls to the FAA.
