Well I will tell you this, Eagle recently had a bunch of instructors retire or get sent back to the line, some of these guys had a god complex. While things have improved, there are still some instructors there that have thier own "agenda". They will try to screw you over if you let them, and you can go to management who will tell you they don't have instructors. I know of one guy who had a problem with an instructor who twice unsatted him accused the guy of not knowing even basic instrument, airmanship stuff. the instructor became very angry at the guy becuase he refused to sign the training reports (Unsats). Eagle to thier credit had the guy do a sim ride to see if he could fly, he proved the instructor wrong (The instructor that did the examination sim even wrote in his report that the guy knew everything the instructor claimed he didn't know like callouts, flow, limitations, etc.) and when he asked to have the false statements taken out of his record they refused, to him that was the deal breaker, he resigned and is now working for another regional, who, has a little history with Eagle and knows about the thier training department.
