Eagle training is notoriously thorough/intense compared to other airlines. I was hired in a class of about 30 (when the mins were 1000/100) and we had about 5-6 fail out of training for various reasons. We had a few more fail their probation checkrides after 1yr on the line. We also have several FOs who upgraded to CA after 5000+ hrs in the right seat who received a pink slip on the upgrade checkride. Flowbacks from AA to AE had a good amount of failures as well. AE has a tough training dept, but if you put in the effort and have a good attitude you will make it through just fine.
