Yes. In order to change base, equipment or seat, there has to exist an "opening" for you to change to. Those are presented on a Vacancy notice. Vacancany notices are posted based on need. Needs are high right now, so we are seeing vacancies about every two weeks. As our staffing levels increase over the next 3-6 months, the vacancies will slow to more or less replace pilots who move on from Mesaba.

After the April 7 class, we will probably still need in the neighborhood of 70-80 more FO's for the 900. Maybe about 20 more for the 200. Saab is staffed about right, but will have to backfill some FO's as individuals upgrade to the left seat. Flow to NWA (if it stays in full swing) will take about 50 in 2008. Attrition has slowed to a trickle in the top half of the list. There will probably continue to be movement at the bottom as the street captains get their 1000 hours of PIC and move on.

If we get additional aircraft, growth mode continues. If not, Mesaba has traditionally been a good airline to hang your hat for many years. Upgrade pre-bankruptcy would be in the 5-6+ year range will little movement between bases.
