The most junior line holding CA was in EWR at about 23% system seniority (roughly 11000 pilots from the bottom).
Translating that into time - about 5 years minimum to hold a line on a widebody aircraft. Probably getting 15-16 days off per month as a jr line holder. Time to hold WB captain as a line holder is better counted in decades rather than years.
