Is this decided upon by each company’s management or insurance requirements or something else? With the new contract it doesn’t seem to be needed but even before COVID I think Sun Country advertised RATP mins for FO.
Because after the riots (allowed by the politicians in Minneapolis/Minnesota) no new hire wants to live there. Sun Country only has one pilot base, MSP. So the amount of people willing to commute or move to MSP is a small pool.
