Be mad at yourself, you went against your own advice and came to an airline you said you would avoid.

And just to get you going, I’ll reiterate, “we should not bargain for first year pay, management will need to raise it to fill classes”. Now, go get your shine box and post some charts or links to articles.
I’m not mad at anyone. I just think that people who keep repeating that same mantra despite the fact it has obviously not worked are crazy. What’s that old saying about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? NK has now gone two contracts with that philosophy and still has industry lagging first year pay. You can laugh all you want, but our junior pilots deserve better.

And the letter UA management sent to ALPA was to cover the fact that the MEC members voting to send the TA to the pilot group had stepped on their dicks by approving a concessionary contract and UA management was hoping to avoid getting them recalled and replaced by less pliable reps.

You truly think UA management sent that letter because they sat around and decided they WANTED to give the pilots more?
