A new hire today is looking at 5-7 year upgrades, and would have to average 100 credit to still fall short of other narrowbody pilots making guarantee.
Also factoring in our reserve rules, which understandably a lot of pilots aren't crazy about, and anyone hired today could be looking at a significant chunk of their career in the right seat until able to upgrade while bypassing CA reserve. The days of zero to hero line holding CA in four years are far, far behind us.
