I don't know if this will answer your question but its what I did. For any aircraft I flew that required two pilots I logged SIC if I wasn't the aircraft commander during flight. I did not include any other time. Thats what the Air Force calls time during the flight that you were a third pilot not in a seat. For time in the T-37 or T-6 that I was not acting as an IP or aircraft commander I logged as dual since these airplanes only require one pilot. Hope this helps.
