I started out flight instructing in 06

Hired at Chautauqua in 07 and was told i’d upgrade in less than a year. I ended up flying an RJ for 7 years in the right seat. Most I saw was $36.62/hr

Went to 5 job fairs but the legacies were too busy hiring flow, women, minorities, and mil.

Took DEC job with Norwegian in 17. Was told i would never get a job in the US again. Saw the threats for what they were. Thin ALPA antics and trench talk.

Got laid off in 18. Hired at K4 after 2 weeks. Offers from Spirit, B6 and Breeze as DEC. I declined those. I wanted no frills, money, and job security so I could provide for my wife and kids.

UPS in 20. Riding this one out.
