They’re changing some of the training to cater to CFIs. Ground school portion is not very hard. They give you plenty of sim prep too. As long as you have some kind of IFR experience and glass cockpit/FMS knowledge, you’ll be alright for sim. Do yourself a favor and really read the operations manuals. They don’t ask you about it during your oral and checkride and you can easily get away with not knowing much about it. After all as a low experienced pilot you’re not just trying to pass the checkride, you’re trying to really understand what you’re doing out there on the line. Good luck!
