The majors have reduced flights by 8 to 14 % due to lack of pilots. They are able to vacuum up regional pilots, but they cannot get them trained and out on the line fast enough. Things will improve in the next year or two as far as majors cancellations. But the regionals will be collapsing, merging, reducing service with no immediate sign of recovery.
