I'm a Riddle grad also. However, I'm sort of the loyal opposition.

Although Riddle is expensive and if you were majoring in something other than a flight program i.e. Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Meteorology, Applied Mathematics, Physics; Airport or Airline Management; Aviation Maintenance (Management) then, I'd say Riddle is for you. Since you're not, go to a State Univ and fly at a local FBO.

As far as the AF Academy, if you got the right stuff....go for it. Truly a rewarding experience I'm sure.

I enjoyed a career in airport management & operations after finishing from Riddle. I've spent the last 10 years in Sales & Marketing and have decided to become an airline pilot at age 46. Time is your ally. If I were in your shoes...I'd do the AF Academy.

JMO.
